THE ULTIMATE BATTLE BEGINS

  • Will the sticky trap win?
  • Or will the cup trap win?

OUR QUESTION

  • Will we catch more Arthropods if we take
  • A flat plate with sticky stuff and sugar on top
  • and put it on the sidewalk or of we put a cup of
  • Sticky stuff and sugar and put it underground?

HYPOTHESIS 1.

  • More Arthropods will be caught in site 5
  • Using the sticky trap with sugar than
  • Using the cup trap with sugar in site 5
More Arthropods will be caught in site 5 using the sticky trap with sugar than using the cup trap with sugar in site 5.

MATERIALS

  • Scissors, shovel, tape
  • 4 plates, 4 cups
  • 6 ziploc bags
  • Sticky stuff, bag of sugar
  • Tablespoon, 8 pencils

PROCEDURES DAY 2

  • Go outside
  • Head to site five
  • Check on traps
  • Make sure everything is ok
  • Take pictures

  • Go outside, head to site five
  • Take pictures
  • Take out pencils from plates
  • Remove plates and cups from ground
  • Put traps into individual bags, collect data
