Animal abuse is a real world problem at this very moment. Stray animals die every day along with the ones that are being beaten and abused.

1st thing YOU can do to help

Learn the signs of abuse and know who to report neglect to authorities

SIGNS OF ABUSE

• Major tick or flea infestation
• Patches of hair missing
• Extremely thin/starving
• Limping or other visible wounds
• Animals that cower in fear when aproached

STEPS TO REPORT ABUSE

• Tell the police where the abuse is reported
• Tell PD as much info as possible
• Rely on the PD to investigate
• Watch for future signs of abuse in the area
• NEVER investigate an abusive area by yourself

2nd thing you can do to help

volunteer at local or nearby shelters or animal facilities

You can volunteer by doing something as big as fostering animals or something as small as donating

All of these things can make an animal live or die. We need to speak up for those who do not have a voice.
