What do Storm Chasers do?

  • They use a plane up to a Hurricane.
  • People in the plane record data on the hurricane.
  • Authorities need to know when not to evacuate the citzens.

Where does it happen?

It mostly happens near the ocean and damages the state.

Damage

Mostly hurricanes make damage to plants, crops (if growing there), trees, cars, boats, and other objects we use everyday. On each hurricane during the hurricane season almost 18% of the state or place has that percentage of humans that died on the hurricanes.

The NOAA Corps

There are 320 Members in the NOAA Corps.
Mostly the NOAA Corps members get ready for the flight up the hurricane and people stay on the Earth to check the data on what the person is giving and the people tell the data on the Radio or on TV.
