Story of My Life As a Hockey Player

What does it mean to be a REAL Champion?

I first started to play roller hockey at the age of 6

at Fox Chase Playground.

At first I was pretty bad, but as I kept practicing

my skills increased.

I ended up winning my first championship when I was 7.

That was my first taste of real victory!

When I was 13, I decided to transition from Roller Hockey to ice,

and that meant I needed more equipment. I went from this...

....to this.

Ice Hockey is not a wallet friendly sport.

My parents and I found a league within

all of the Flyer's Skate Zones and I played for the Northeast Team.

I started out a bit rusty, but in my second game,

I scored my first goal!

We were doing pretty good that season.

We ended up making the championship.

We won the game 2-1. I had won my first Ice Hockey Championship!

We ended up 12-1 that season!

My first season of Ice Hockey went great!

I felt like I was on top of the world!

I had 5 goals that season. What mattered

most was that I had fun. That's what it means to be a REAL champion!
