I'm excited to tell you the story of Strategy #5. I can compare our journey to a road trip to paradise, except you don't necessarily have a map on how to get there. It is kind of the way I drive when my family goes on vacations. We all know the stereotype-like story, where the husband doesn't want to pull over for directions and the wife is urging him to just stop at the gas station and ask. I facilitated this group, but I couldn't assure them that I knew where we were going, but we would all know when we got to were want our district to be.

Our conflict started with coming to terms with our strategy. We were making choices for the district.

We felt it was important that an operational manual was created so that no matter the leadership in the district, policies and procedures for developing schools of choice can be repeated and sustained for years to come.
