Structures Mode to Simplify Drone 3D ModelingUntitled Haiku Deck

Published on Jun 15, 2021

Creating a 3D model from a drone has always been a combination of art and science. However, at DroneDeploy, we aim to make it easier for anyone, regardless of skill level, to create high-quality drone maps and 3D models using our software. That is why we are so happy to introduce Structures Mode. Models in 3D. Simplified.

Structures Mode is intended to make data collecting easier for anyone who wishes to create a high-quality 3D model with their drone.

So, how exactly does it work? Structures Mode shoots oblique photographs from the perimeter of your mission plan, facing the centre of your topic – all while removing the horizon from the picture.

Information Transformation Services is endowing the clients with a stunning and impressive visual experience crafted by 3D Modeling Services. We are completely forted to offers our customers with a range of appealing 3D designs that are carefully crafted to meet with all type of requirements.

What's the best part? Structures Mode is designed to automatically collect the fewest photos needed to create a decent model. Instead of hundreds of photographs, you may now get crisp models with just a few dozen. This means that your model will run faster on the cloud, and you will not have to wait as long for a completed result.

How to Make Use of Structures Mode

Structures mode is simple to use. Enable “Structures Mode” in the DroneDeploy app's flight plan options by flicking the toggle. That is all there is to it.

When planning your flight in DroneDeploy, enable Structures Mode.

Here's an example of a recent model of our office that we created. This model was created using only 40 pictures gathered in about ten minutes.

This high-resolution 3D model was created with only 40 photographs collected using the new Structures Mode.

Hardware Supported

We designed this function for DJI Drones introduced since the Phantom 4. Please see our list of Supported Drones for more information on compatibility between your drone and the DroneDeploy flying app.

So, what are you holding out for? Try out Structures Mode on your next flight. We are confident that you will be impressed.
