PRESENTATION OUTLINE

UNBALANCED

This piece is unbalanced because there is more activity on the right, than the left. There are more colors, lines, and overall more activity going on on the right. While the left is a bland, one color surface. The surface is smooth and change less.

SYMMETRICALLY BALANCED

This piece is symmetrically balance because all shapes on one side of the axis are exactly copied, in the same place and size, on the other side of the axis.

ASYMMETRIC BALANCE
This piece is asymmetrically balanced because the right side is closer to the point of view. The tree is closer and a lot is happening. The left side has a completely different movement. But both sides have an even amount Something large and near the center, is balanced by something smaller and near the edge.

COLOR BALANCE

This shows all the same color blue, with different shades of dark blue. The of space for his guitar is balanced by his face/head because of the amount of detail put into the face, with the lack of detail in the guitar. A complicated shape is evened out by a less colic acted, larger shape.

SHAPE BALANCE

This work shows a small complicated shape( the star in the middle) inside a larger less complicated shape.

RADIAL BALANCE

All the shapes start from the center, with a larger shape, then branch off from this larger shape.

SMALLER BRIGHT SHAPE WITH DULL LARGER SHAPE

The circle in the right hand corner contrast against the back ground, while the larger more complicated shape blends into the back ground.
