You probably know that these boxes are everywhere, but did you know that the same material is surrounding you almost anytime you're indoors.

Styrofoam (EPS) is widely used in construction, sometimes it is even the only material used.
As in these Dome houses from Japan.

AND!
EPS is even
considered a GREEN material...

Yep. Due to styrofoam's high insulating properties and its "low" impact on the environment, EPS is considered a "green" building material.

Recycled Cotton, and Recycled Denim have comparable insulating qualities to EPS.

I would like to highlight the use of EPS and potential alternatives through an installation in Central Park.
