TALK TO THEM ABOUT IT

Someone who is suicidal is often trying to reach out to you, even if at first you can't tell. If you sense that someone is suicidal, consider just asking them if they are, and if they want help.

Despite how many times your suicidal friend tells you not to, calling someone and asking for help can save their life. An angry friend is better than a dead friend.

CONVINCE THEM TO SEE A DOCTOR OR COUNSELOR

Doctors are trained to help people with suicidal thoughts. They can prescribe anti-depressants and therapy.

KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN

By watching your suicidal friend, you can tell how they feel about things. You may even be able to tell if they are planning their own suicide.
