  • They can only live in jungles and other type of a wild environment
  • FUN FACT: They are called silverbacks because their backs look like it has a silver saddle on it.

KOMOTO DRAGON/MONITOR

  • Today, the Komodo monitor is considered vulnerable.
  • Komodo monitors, are found on The Island of Komodo and other Indonesian islands.
  • FUN FACT: If a Komodo monitor feels it's endangered it will throw up its food to run faster to get away from the threat.

THE NORTHERN WHITE RHINO

  • Although, poaching records have come to a new high, the Northern White Rhino status is at near threatened.
  • Northern White Rhinos are located in 4 different countries, South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe, and Kenya.
  • FUN FACT : The Northern White Rhino is the 3rd largest animal in Africa.

KAKAPO

  • Currently, the Kakapo is considered critically endangered.
  • It can be found on Cod fish island, anchor island and little barrier island.
  • FUN FACT: The Kakapo has an average life span of 95 years.

  • The Qi-Qi is a river dolphin in China and is critically endangered.
  • It is located in the Yangtze River, in China.
  • FUN FACT: A QiQi can be the size of an average human man, possibly even larger.
