EARLY LIFE

• Born in Cuiheng Xiangshan County, Guandong province
• He had a cultural background of Hakka and Cantonese
• After he finished with primary school he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii

Moved by Republicanism

After being sent home by his brother he was moved by a backwards China. He was scornful towards Chinese religious beliefs. He wanted change.

Fueled by the longing for change, Sun joined forces with revolutionary Chinese students. He fought for three principles.
