  • A lobotomy is also know as a leucotomy
  • a neurosurgical procedure
  • involves severing the connections from the brain to the prefrontal lobe
  • A Lobotomy treats mental ilness *
  • A lobotomy also treats epilepsy

STEM ➡️ NEUROSURGEON

  • Use math when diagnosing patients & preforming surgery
  • There are neurosurgical scientists
  • Surgeons need an understanding of the body and how it works
  • We use technology like anesthesia, and x rays
  • We use math to calculate angles when we are preforming brain surgery

AN AVERAGE DAY

  • There is usually not an average day because we are on call
