REFLECT

TOOLS, RESOURCES AND STRATEGIES TO HELP REFLECT ON YOUR ACADEMIC LEARNING

REFLECT

  • THINK ABOUT YOUR STRENGTHS AND WEAKNESSES: Gaining an understanding of your strengths and weaknesses is an important area to begin to really understand your academic skills in more depth. Feedback on submitted assessments can be accessed in Moodle from your unit lecturers. This feedback allows for reflection so you can start focusing on where you can improve for future assessments.

REFECT

  • AVAILABLE RESOURCES: Processing feedback will have you asking deep and meaningful questions on how you can improve your academic achievements, it's important to know that there are a reliable amount of resources and services also available that are designed to help you. The ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT SKILLS DEVELOPMENT checklist is beneficial and highly recommended to use for each assessment piece to help you gain insight into how you are progressing.

REFLECT

  • LEARNING JOURNALS are also an excellent way to look back and reflect on personal development.
  • COMMUNICATION: chat with educators, fellow peers, Student learner advisors on campus to gain clarity and further your understanding or to share with others your own knowledge and understandings.

SHARE

TOOLS, RESOURCES AND PROGRAMS TO SHARE WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNED.

SHARE

  • COLLABORATION: is an efficient and effective method used in academic studies. There are many ways we can collaborate both on and off campus at ACAP. This can be achieved by participating openly in class discussions with fellow peers and lecturers. The use of class forum discussion boards is an open online space where you can further share facts and opinions with other ACAP students locally and interstate.

SHARE

  • FORM STUDY GROUPS: peer assisted study groups can be formed between students. You potentially could meet on a particular day of the week that is convenient for everyone, grab a coffee and all collaborate in a group setting in relation to your studies.
