  • A factory or workshop, especially in the clothing industry, where manual workers are employed at very low wages for long hours and under poor conditions.

  • Sweatshops often have poor working conditions, unfair wages, unreasonable hours, child labor, and a lack of benefits for workers.

  • Taking away sweatshops takes away an option for the poorest workers of the world
  • Sweatshop jobs often pay three to seven times more than wages paid else wherein the economy
  • Sweatshops are doing something to help,they provide jobs that pay better than other alternates

  • I learned that sweatshop workers work in poor condition and are treated terrible
  • They also can be helpful because they help the poor escape poverty
  • I also learned that a lot of companies in the USA don't use sweatshop labor but some do
