KING GEORGE III-1764

THIS IS WHEN HE STARTED PASSING ACTS/LAWS.

SUGAR ACT-1764

The colonists were taxed from the sugar and molasses that they imported.

STAMP ACT- 1765

This required the colonists to pay for an official seal when they bought paper.

The stamp act was repealed by the British in 1765

BOSTON MASSACRE-1770

British soldiers killed 5 men because of a snowball fight.

TEA ACT-1773

This allowed the British east India company to sell directly to the colonists.

BOSTON TEA PARTY-1773

The colonists seized 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
