THE SYRIAN CRISIS

HOW IT STARTED

  • It all started when a 22 year old college graduate was selling food on a food stand when the government said it was illegal then they beat him up later he set himself on fire because of his anger and later died in the hospital.

THE ARAB SPRING STARTS

  • The Arab Spring starts with a small protest the Assad orders in troops to kill any Muslims in their way then they create a team called the rebels to stop any Assad troops in the way

AL QAEDA COMES IN

  • Another team called the terrorists are making it harder for Assad to battle then ever because there's going to be 5 nations to join Assad or rebels

RUSSIA AND CHINA Don't JOIN THE REBELS

  • China and Russia are going to join the Assads team to battle against the rebels making the us and the U.K. And Germany to join the rebels

THE RELIGION BATTLE

  • A battle against a Sunnis and alawites and Christians are battle the war and the Sunnis get scholarships but no jobs making them jobless the Christians are the ones who fight and also have scholarships and jobs and the alawites get everything

CONSEQUENCES TO THE WAR

  • In the war nearly 300k people die in the war as of now and almost 3 million people flee to Europe in the war

WHY DID THE UN NOT STEP IN

  • The United Nations did not step in because the war was war to hard because the al Qaeda join the war which they shouldn't have did making the Un not join the war
