TAE KWON DO

TAEKWONDO

  • Tae means "kicking"
  • Kwon refers to "punching" using hand
  • and do means "style" or "method"

This sport appeared in Korea since more than 2000 years to protect them selves from Wars.

WHER IT IS PRACTICED ?

  • In clubs.
  • In parks.
  • Or anywhere quiet and wide.

WHO CAN PRACTICE IT ?

  • Any one can practice it male or female.
  • kids and elders.

TAEKWONDO CLOTHES

  • Taekwondo suit (Aldopk) and above the suit you should wear:
  • Head protector/ Chest protector (Alehaugo)
  • Arms protector .
  • Legs visor.
  • Visor down the belt.

Basic rules of Teakwood
The competition start with two rounds if it's a tie, there will be a third round.

Each round is three minutes.

The kicks should be from upper body to the head.

The playground is red surrounded by blue line and the one who cross the blue line lose one point.

MY JOURNY WITH TAEKWANDO

  • I started practicing Taekwando five years ago in Fujairah.
  • I learnt many new techniques in Fujairah club.
  • I won two times in Dubai and I got the yellow belt.
  • I quit tekwando in 2012 becase I moved to Abu dhabi.
  • I enjoyed practicing it and I recommend you to try itπŸ˜ƒ.
