How did TAiwan Become A "Country"?

• China had a Civil War after WWII
• The war was communism vs non communism
• The communist army rendered victorious
• The Nationalists (non communists) fled to the Island of Taiwan
• They have resided there ever since

In the People's Republic OF China,

They claim Taiwan

In Fact, They have an ultimatum

They Will Establish A TRade

As americans,

but WHY?

• As a country, we rely a lot on China for various goods
• If we recognize Taiwan as a country, China will stop trade with us
• That will cause a lack of many goods in America
• Due to lack of goods, America will not flourish

but WHY?

• America always supports democracy
• Taiwan is democratic, that is why they fled
• Similarly, South (SK) and North Korea (NK) are seperate
• South is the democratic side
• During the Korean war, America supported SK, and still provides them suppor

Even though America doesn't Recognize

So, the similar Affects are

• Each country's isolation causes America to take someone's side
• Due to America's encouragement of Democracy they support the Democratic sid
• But, America alwas pays heed to China's ultimatum regarding Taiwan
