SETTING

• The story starts off showing Nikki at her birthday party and it coming out as a disaster,after the all the chaos it shows that it was all just a nightmare and Nikki was in her bed asleep,yet the nightmare left her afraid for her own party.

SHORT SUMMARY

• Nikki and her best friends Chloe and Zoey are planning for Nikki’s up coming birthday party,they plain out a expensive party,But then they run into a big problem!Nikki’s mom says NO WAY to the budget for the party.Nikki was just about to give up on her birthday party all together,but then something surprising happens!

SMALL DETAILS IN THE STORY

• In the beginning when Nikki,Chloe,and Zoey where still planning for Nikki’s party,they Suggested many deferent choices like “a pool party,a backyard picnic party,a Movie night pajama party,music lovers Listening party,and even a Scream fest party!
• Three days into the summer break and Brianna(Nikki’s little sister)is already bothering her.Brianna likes to cook,sadly she’s horrible at it!One morning Nikki woke up to a terrible smell and in the kitchen she found Brianna along with the mess she made.Brianna stated that what she made was a”peanut-butter-covered Sardines,swimming in ketchup and topped with gummy worms,all on toasted bread.” Nikki also Stated that “it smelled Horrible!Like ten day old garbage.rotting in slimy swamp water!”

MY RATING ON THE BOOK

• I give this book a 6/10,this is not my favorite out of the Dork Diaries series but it’s kinda in the middle to me.It only really interested me because of the characters but other wise it was kinda boring to me besides a few parts.

MY FAVORITE PART

• My favorite part of the story is in the end when Nikki give up her trip to pairs and gives it to Mackenzie so that she can go on the Bad Boyz tour with Brandon and her friends.

WHAT I DIDN’T EXPECT

• There’s a lot of thing in this story that I didn’t expect but the biggest thing would be when Nikki gave up her trip to pairs to be with Brandon for the summer.If I were her I wouldn’t have done that,but that’s just me.Its for Love and friendship I guess.So....YAY happy ending!
