The writer, director and actors interviewed people who have been affected by or involved in terrorism - wanting to know what makes ordinary people do extreme things.

This included peacemakers, warriors, journalists, psychologists and hostages from recent history, and those who have crossed the line.

They collected stories from Uganda, Israel, Turkey, Iraq and Ireland to the heart of the British Establishment.
