A story that is not real (fiction).
Contains Gods, Goddesses, and mythological creatures.
Again, they aren't real.

WHO IS TALOS
Talos is an automaton created by Hephaestus.
Hephaestus is the God of Smithing and Metalworking.
An automaton is any mechanical device that moves on its own.
It is not a real robot!

WHAT WAS HE MADE FOR?
Protected a woman named Europa
Threw boulders at approaching ships
Circled Crete 3 times a day

HIS MYTH
Found in "Jason and the Argonauts"
Attacked the Argonauts as they sailed near Crete
They could not pass him!

Jason's Wife, Medea
Summoned Evil Spirits
Talos goes insane
Pulled a nail from his foot.
Talos bleeds out his molten blood, dies
