WHERE IT COMES FROM

IT IS A TRADITIONAL FOOD FROM MEXICO

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 and 1/4 lb pork (chicken or beef, 1 and 1/2 OZ. Pasilla chili
  • 1/8 cup vegetable oil, 3/4 cup of water, 1/2 tablespoon salt
  • AS much tamale leves as you want, 2 and 1/2 lbs maseca tamale prepared

HOW TO MAKE IT

  • Cover the meat with water in the steamer for 2 hours
  • Until the meat is well cooked. Cut the meat into small pieces.
  • Add salt and soak the leaves for a few minutes.
  • Spread the masa over each leaf and put pork or meat
  • And fold the tamale. Cover the steam for abot an hour and your finally done
