What is the purpose of monumental architecture?
I think the purpose of my monumental architecture is that they showed power and wealth because by the way there buildings are mad and shown to people is a way to show were it is from and made.for example the liuhe pagoda is has been made,destroyed,and rebuilt.it is a beautiful pagoda and almost as tall as every one I have see.the other way it shows you that they had power and wealth is the way on the height of the buildings and the structure of the buildings too.the dynasty shows that it has power and wealth by the how many pagoda have been made. The other way is that by how many Buddhist have been around. it shows you how many pagodas are there.it shows you a lote of Buddhist

IRON PAGODA
- Built:1049,was burned by lighting in 1044,rebuilt in 1049
- It was built a magnificent wooden pagoda.
- Built as part of yougho that considered by many of his contempories.
- As to be a marvel of art

TIGER HILL PAGODA
- Built in 907 A.D.
- . Construction began in 907 A.D.
- It started during the five dynasty period
- at a time when Suzhou was ruled by the Wuyue Kingdom.
- Construction was completed in 961 AD
LIUHE PAGODA
- Built in 970,destroyed in 1121,rebuilt in 1165
- The reason why it was built is because it was to calm the tidal boreal.
- The reason to calm tidal boreal because of qiantang river, navigational aid

- Liuhe pagoda,because it was built and destroyed and then rebuilt

Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda
- In 1382,tang yin-tung dreamt that a group of stars all gathered togather
- Also dropped onto the place where the pagoda now stands
TIANNING PAGODA
- Was being built in 2002,done building in 2007
- Built for ceremony for Buddhist to gather around
THE PURPOSE OF THE STRUTURE FOR MY CIVILIZATION IS ...
- The purpose of pagoda is for Buddhist to come and worship
- Also to have religion

- The differences is Romans used stone tang used stone,glass,and wood
- Tang and Song Dynasty:they had dynasties
- Roman Empire: made roads and buildings out of stones
