WHAT DID I LEARN?

I deepened my insight into various forms of assessment, and I learned some strategies for effective feedback that are specific to music instruction

HOW WILL THIS EXPERIENCE IMPACT MY PRACTICE?

It is likely that I will use the GPS program and the assessment strategies outlined there. Some other strategies I may want to employ are collecting triangulated data, gradual release of the ownership of learning, student mentorship, portfolios, journals, etc.
