OVERVIEW

  • TSD is a genetic disorder that causes developmental delays
  • TSD is caused by a buildup of fatty material in the brain and nerves
  • TSD symptoms usually appear 4-6 months after birth
  • Children with TSD usually die by age 4
  • TSD has no cure
