a changing role in a digitalised world

Information Specialist

the main purpose of my role is to help students unlock and decode the vast amount of information now at their fingertips. This includes critical selection of information; organising it, interpreting it; presenting it. These activities require students to be able to comprehend, synthesise, analyse, evaluate and reflect, all those inquiry based and creative skills that are focussed upon in the Australian curriculum content descriptors. My work is deeply embedded in the curriculum infrastructure and requirements.
