  • Student safety seems guaranteed

EVENTS IN PAST YEARS HAVE PROVEN THAT THIS IS FALSE.

CAMPUS CRIMES

  • Examples include: shootings, sexual assaults, harassment, stalking, trespassing and larceny
  • 27 college shootings occurred in 2014

  • Open campuses with separate buildings
  • Continually changing population with visitors
  • Increase of students with mental health issues

  • The best EMS will be able to be customized by individual user.

  • Practical when communicating with a large student body
  • It takes 90 minutes to deliver 18,000 texts
  • It takes 10 minutes to deliver 44,000 push notifications

  • Use for emergencies only
  • Pre-record emergency messages with edits
  • Require system to have a back-up
