Twitter goes mainstream!
Twitter had not been as prevalent or popular until 2009. This website was not as good as connecting people as facebook but it allowed people to keep up with their favorite celebrities and allowed news to spread like wildfire! Faster than news outlets could keep up. This allowed Twitter to climb the ranks of media websites.

My personal favorite- The HTC Dream

• The First Android Phone released in 2008 on October 22nd
• Had the ability to run 3G
• Had both a keybaord and touch screen
• Was created by HTC/Android owned by Google
• The goal was to overtake the iPhone as the leading smartphone of the future

• The hurdles were to over-come the lack of functionality and critisism thrown back at it
• It was the first phone to be fully Incorporated with google services and apps

• This phone lead to a long line of android phones that gave us the ability to have full accessibility to Google's apps allowing us to use their search engine, gps, and so much more.
