Technology Is Not Allowed

What exactly is the issues?
The issue is that people get distracted with their phones and won't pay attention to their work and that's why most of the students have bad grade in school.

What is causing it?
The cause of all of this is the technology and we students(children) get distracted by them so much that we miss out on what our teachers are saying that we don't know what to do and then we fail the class.

What is the extent of the problem?
It's a problem because the grades of some of the students are suffering they play more games on their technology and get on more social media sites than they do paying attention to their school work.

How long has it been an issue?
It's been an issue for a very long time I mean we like to play on our technology so much it's basically like a drug we need it, we need it with us, and we got to have it.

Has is gotten worse or better over the past years?
No, it has not gotten better it most definitely has gotten worse because we basically do not do anything else besides play on our technology.

I found on www.nbcnews.com that the technology is a distraction and it's hurting us because it's making us dumber.

What trends do you see in the data?
People who are distracted by technology tend to score 20% lower on a standard cognition test. It's even changes the behavior of the students in the way they communicate with people.

I can contact teachers and the older people in my family and they will give me good information of why technology today is a bad distraction.

The Solution
We could only use cell phones when needed take the iPads from the school because this would solve the playing games in class issue.
Advantages of this solution are that there is less distraction, student pay attention in class more, and won't play games on devices.

STEPS TO THE SOLUTION

• We are going to make up a presntation
• Talk to all of the teachers about the situation
• Have a meeting with the district and then present what we have
• Then get the approval the district and the school principal
• Students will no longer be able to use technology in school unless its for school or its an emergency
