Adaptations
- First, some plants like the prairie tree have adapted to fires by having thick bark.
- Second, the grassland grasses grow from the bottom just in case the tips freeze or burn off in a fire.
- Third, animals have adapted to the cold by hibernating.

- pests and can cause diseases.
Mans Impact
- Eventually it was banned, but mans impact on the grassland was hunting species for their valuable body parts.
- Man made fires this causes many areas to be burned down.
- Burning fossil fuels caused changes in the climate.
- From all these impacts many species lost their lives and homes.
