• makes the saving work of Christ real and present in the liturgy.
• brings us into communion with Christ.
• This communion builds up and increases the holiness of the Church.

THE HOLY SPIRIT

• empowers members of the Church to develop human virtues.
• (Four cardinal virtues: prudence, justice, fortitude, temperance)
• gives us gifts to talents to the Church's mission.
• is our advocate.
