PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Meg likes to read and write. She is the main character of the story and is the one that keeps everyone updated with information. She is going 100s of miles away from Minnie for college. She is still not sure if she should go.
Since it was a three day weekend Meg and 9 other friends came to the island. They all told their parents that they were going to a hotel to party, but instead they went to an island. Minnie had to drag Meg to the island to have some fun. “It’s more fun this way. Like were stranded here for three glorious days.” (Pg. 11 Gretchen McNeil)
Minnie is the more fun and crazy girl. She likes to party and she calms Meg down. She always gets in trouble and gets Meg in trouble. She starts as a fun and nice girl, but she turns out to be a disaster drinking beer.
She gets jealous because Meg started hanging out with T.J. She starts ignoring Meg and spending more time with T.J. When T.J tells her the truth she get devastated. She stays in her room doing nothing, but staring at the wall. “Do not call your parents” (Pg. 11 Gretchen McNeil)
T.J is a gentleman. He likes to play sports and has a crush on Meg. Minnie is trying to become T.J’s boyfriend, but she doesn't. Meg and T.J start to come closer and closer together, but Minnie is trying to stop them. Minnie becomes more and more jealous.
T.J. was the helper in the book. He contributed a lot by leading others and comforting them. Everyone felt safe around T.J and especially Meg.
Meg and Minnie were starting to ignore each other, but Meg started taking interest in T.J. Minnie thought that T.J was boyfriend, but actually T.J liked Meg.
