The TVA was established in 1933.
The founders were Franklin D. Roosevelt and George W. Norris.
The headquarters are located in Knoxville, Tennessee.

To address a wide range of environmental, economic, and technological issues
Included delivery of low-cost electricity and the management of natural resources.
Created to help the region and the nation during the Great Depression.

The TVA created dams so people had lots of jobs.
The TVA lowered the price for electricity so more people could afford it.
It gave unemployed people jobs.
