PRESENTATION OUTLINE

ORGANISMS

  • An organisms gets food, shelter, water and other things it needs to live, grow and reproduce from its habitat.

POPULATION

  • All individuals that belongs to the same species and live in a given area at a particular time.

COMMUNITY

  • All the different population that live together in an area different organisms living in the same ecosystem.

AVAILABILITY OF FOOD

  • Plants can make their own food but animals have to find food. Many animals depends on plant and some animals eat each other.

OTHER ORGANISM

  • The presence of other organisms in a habitat can affect the survival of a population.

LIVING FACTORS

  • Availability of food.
  • Presence of other organisms.

NON - LIVING / PHYSICAL FACTORS

  • Temperature.
  • Water.
  • Light.
  • Air.
  • Soil.

TEMPERATURE

  • The temperature of an environment is a measure of how hot and cold however some organisms can live in very hot or very cold.

COMMON HABITAT

  • Different types of plants and animals can live in particular habitat.

Pond habitat

  • A small area of still , fresh water.

FIELD HABITAT

  • Meadous that contains grass and other non-woody plants.

GARDEN HABITAT

  • A garden which provides a place to live for different types of animals and plants usually exist in warm conditions.

LIGHT

  • Most animals need light to move , some animals such as bats and worms can live in darkness.

AIR

  • Air is important for organisms to carry out live plants need carbon dioxide to make food.

SOIL

  • Soil is important for plants growth and to the animals that live in them different plants take their Nutrients from soil.

SEASHORE HABITAT

  • An area of sandy , stony or rocky land bordering and level with the sea.

MANGROVE HABITAT

  • A group of trees and shrubs that live in the coastal Intertidal zone.

DESERT HABITAT

  • A desert is a hot place at morning and cold at night and no enough water for plants and it is a dry habitat.

ARCTIC HABITAT

  • The regions around the North Pole.

WATER

  • Organisms need water to survive the amount of water in a habitat depends on how much rain it receives some habitat gets water from ponds and rivers.

LIGHT

  • Plants need sunlight to make food the amount of sunlight in the habitat can determine the type of plants that live there this will in true affect the types of animals found in the habitat.

LEAF LITTER HABITAT

  • The dead leaves and the other debris that fall to the floor of a forest that make home for many living things.

INDENTIFICATION KEY

  • Shows how things can be similar or different.
  • It helps us to understand the diversity around us by organizing and grouping things so that we can identify them easily.

HOW DO MAN’S ACTIVITIES AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT 😃LAND😃

  • the number of people on earth is growing every year then they need more space to live in and work they also need more food. large areas of forests are cleared to provide the land to build homes expand cities , and grow crops for people to eat.

HOW DO MAN’S ACTIVITIES AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT 😃TRANSPORT😃

  • There are many ways to travel from one place to another. most people used cars , buses , trains or planes . fuel like petrol is needed to move these vehicles a lot of fossil fuels are used up by such vehicles.

HOW DO MAN’S ACTIVITIES AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT 😃FACTORIES😃

  • The things people need and want are made in factories. As the factories produce this thing, they also pollute the air, rivers , seas and land. Poly pollution is made up of substances that can harm our health and the environment.

HOW DO MAN’S ACTIVITIES AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT😃TYPE OF POPULATION😃

  • Land pollution happens when Waste produced by man is dumped Carelessly. This poisons the soil. thus it cannot be used to grow crops for humans consumption.

HOW DO MAN’S ACTIVITIES AFFECT THE ENVIRONMENT😃WATER POLLUTION😃

  • Water pollution occurs in streams , rivers and seas . Harmful chemicals can waste are often discarded into these waters . as a result , the animals and plants living in them are harmed.
  • Improper disposal of waste .
  • Litter such as plastic wrappers and fishing nets that are left behind on beaches or in rivers, lakes and seas, harm many marine animals and sea birds. This animals get entangled entangled in nets or eat up litter , E.G. plastic , by mistake.

HOW CAN WE HELP THE ENVIRONMENT

  • We should try to use fewer things, so that we will not produce so much waste.
  • Some of that waste produce can be recycled, which means turning them into new materials that can be used again.

HOW CAN WE MAKE OUR EARTH SAFE

  • We can recycle waste by collecting them. Things like drink cans , glass bottles, plastic bags and used paper can be recycled we must do our part to save the earth resources by recycling them, and do not wasting them.
  • we have to use paper bin , Glass bin , Metal bin and plastic bin.
  • We have always use the ♻️ 3R’s ♻️ what is the 3R’s ? It is reduce , Reuse , recycle
  • Recycling is the process of converting waste materials into new materials and objects , Reuse is the action or practice of using an item, whether for its original purpose , Reduce is the action to make smaller or less reduce expenses Reduce your speed ahead.
  • That how we can safe our 🌏
