CREATIVE SHOW DIRECTOR

• create & execute vision for opening & closing ceremony presentations
• book talent, design & support service providers (competitive bidding)
• coordinate design & execution for the duration through completion
• report to key members of FEI WEG committee & Event Director (Vaneli Bojkova?) for budget, design & must-have Ceremonial elements

BUDGET

• establish non-negotiable items and break out the variables (design, equipment & talent fees) subject to review and approval (i.e. Artist fees vary by up to 1m, design fees vary by complexity & time horizon etc)
• define current projection for ceremonies' cost budget
• reconcile vision with resources, if necessary
• establish resources (components of AV support et al being used for entire games, usable for ceremonies) to avoid duplication

ACTION ITEMS

• retain creative director & establish deliverables
• approve key service provider budgets-->retain providers (staging, lighting, design)
• approve Artist & entertainment budget & book key talent

• world class talent & presentation befitting the aspirational nature of WEG
• utilize local talent & resources
• creative & dynamic show arc
• state of the art multimedia presentation
• frame key ceremony elements with/as appropriate entertainment components
