WHY DO WE NEED THEM?

  • "We need textile designers because they create new patterns and designs or redesign existing ones for fabrics."

WHAT DO TO HAVE THIS CAREER?

  • You need to either have an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in fabric/textile design, or it could be something that is closely related to it. You will have to be trained for proficiency in illustrator, photoshop, design, and design software.

ARE YOU RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS JOB

  • Textile designers have many roles and are often required to make decisions throughout the designs. They will present their visual mood boards, portfolio work and verbal presentations, the designer discusses potential concepts and demonstrate their suitability for the project. Designers responsible for knowing information about where their materials originated from.
