*Summary the fault in our stars is a books about how a young teenage girl is diagnosed with thyroid cancer and it has spread to her lungs. Her mom gets worried about her and thinks she has depression because of the cancer she says no it's because I'm dying. Hazel graces((the young girl)) mom soon decides that hazel should be going to a support group with other young teens that have been diagnosed with cancer. As the book goes on she dreads going to support group until one day when she catches the eye of a boy, Augutus waters is his name. Augutus is a sweet charming boy, he went through having cancer until he got his leg amputated. He now attends the support group for his best friend Isaac who has a tumor in his eye. hazel grace and Augutus start hanging out and talking more. in the middle of the story hazel struggles with fluids filling in her lungs she ends up inthe icu,by the time she gets left out she learns that Augutus never left the waiting room. The take a trip to Amsterdam to meet one of hazel graces favorite authors... it was a tough decision with her lungs spout she was determined to get there. The next day Gus((Augustus)) tells hazel that while he was in the hospital he had a body scan that showed his cancer is back and is spreading everywhere. Hazel is starting to realize she loves Gus more now than ever as his conditions worsen he decides he wants to have a prefuneral for himself so he can her what hazel and Isaac have to say. 8 days after the prefuneral Gus passed away leaving hazel heart broken.

*1)"we'll I've been waiting here all night but they won't let me... will you tell her that I, here and I will be here" Gus is showing how he will be there for her no matter what like her lungs filled with fluid and almost killed her and all he wanted to so was be there sitting even if he couldn't see her.

*2) "okay..okay...okay...okay, perhaps okay will be our always" to me this is where they are making there first real connection with each other they say okay as their I love you or always forever I love this.

*3) Isaac starts off his speech with some humor, but then says "even if I was ever given robot eyes I would deny them because I wouldn't want to see a world without Gus." to me this is a really moving part of the book because they are best friends and he wouldn't wanna see anything without. his best friend being around.

*4) "the doctors told me I couldn't go..."your just to sick hazel" at this point hazel is at a very low part in her life she doesn't wanna talk see look at anyone that she feels like she has the ability of hurting. it breaks my heart that she could be blaming her whole sickness on herself.

*Choice that effected the characters life: "... now that's loved a grenade did I understand the foolishness of trying to save others from my own impending fragmentation I couldn't unlove Augustus waters. And I didnt want to."The fact the hazel grace decided to let him love her and she soon began to realize how much she loved him even though she is left heart broken she also got see that just because she has cancer doesn't mean she is unloveable she just needed someone who was willing to try and prove it to her.

*something that I think relates in life is that no matter what you can be loved if you truly let the person love you for who you are set aside all the negative things that could happen you just have to go with the flow no matter how scared you are because fear only holds you back. Just like in the book hazel was holding back but really Augutus wasn't afraid of being hurt by her he just wanted to live in the moment. And I think that more people should live like that or else were all going to be holding a lot of things back.

*book review: I would most defiantly recommend this book to others.Because it was amazing every detail was so in depth and I could really paint a picture of what was going on. If I was rating this book from 1-10 it would with out a doubt be a 10 or even higher. Even if you aren't a stronger reader this book will grab your attention and you won't ever want to put it down, trust me I know. I also feel that this book really isn't just for girls if a guy wanted to read it I think they could without feeling weird. This is an outstanding book everyone should read it!!
