Cardiovascular / respiratory endurance

  • The ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen.
  • Cardiovascular endurance is a measurement of how well your heart, lungs and muscles work together to keep your body active over an extended period of time. Exercisers can improve Cardiovascular endurance by participating in a program of regular aerobic exercise.

Stamina

  • The ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy.
  • Stamina is the ability of an organism to exert itself and remain active for a long period of time, as well as its ability to resist, withstand, recover from, and have immunity to trauma, wounds, or fatigue.
  • When an person is in marathon he need a lot of stamina because it's continuous running program and at intervals eating as well as drinking is necessary.

Strength

  • The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply force.
  • Strength can be the capacity of an object or substance to withstand great force or pressure this is in humans as well.

Flexibility

  • The ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint.
  • Flexibility or limberness refers to the absolute range of movement in a joint or series of joints, and length in muscles that cross the joints to induce a bending movement or motion.

Power

  • The ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time.

Speed

  • The ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.
  • Usian Bolt has a speed of 44.72 km/hr by which whenever he runs whether he starts second or 2 seconds late his speed helps him to became faster and win the race.

Coordination

  • The ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movement.
  • Coordination is the organization of the different elements of body as to enable them to work together effectively.
  • If group of people are playing soccer, they need coordination for performing well in the match and getting the rhythm of the player so the passes go in the correct direction and do not get interceptions.

Agility

  • The ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.
  • Agility is the ability to change the body's position efficiently with use of balance, coordination and speed.

Balance

  • The ability to control the placement of the body’s center of gravity in relation to its support base.
  • This is a situation in which different elements of the body are equal or in the correct proportions.
  • For Gymnastics, Balance is the major key point as without it any move they make can also cause injury to them.

Accuracy

  • The ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.
  • Accuracy can also be defined as the quality or state of being correct or precise.
