BOSTON PORT ACT

THE PORT OF BOSTON WAS TO REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL THE MONEY FOR THE TEA HAD BEEN PAID

THE MASSACHUSETTS GOVERNMENT ACT

THE LEGISLATIVE POWER OF THE COLONISTS WAS GREATLY REDUCED

IMPARTIAL ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE ACT

  • All colonial meetings, otherwise approved by the British are banned
  • British soldiers cannot be tried in colonial courts of law

THE QUARTERING ACT

COLONISTS HAD TO PROVIDE ROOM FOR ENGLISH SOLDIERS IF ASKED

THE QUEBEC ACT

  • Gave Quebec control of disputed lands
  • Reasserted rights to catholics
  • Reconstituted French Civil Laws in the Quebec territory.

THOMAS GAGE

WAS MADE COMMANDER OF BRITISH ARMY IN Us AND GOVERNOR OF BOSTON
