  • Copper(78-95%), Tin(5-22%), plus manganese, phosphorus, aluminum, or silicon.
  • Bronze is a substitutional alloy

Where and When?

  • The earliest evidence of the use of Bronze is in Western Asia around 3000 B.C.
  • Discovered separately in China around 2000 B.C.
