My ecosystem is the Coniferous Forest. The coniferous forest is commonly in Canada and Europe. I found this information on Habitat Awareness.

The climate and precipitation of my ecosystem is cold because of the trees. For the precipitation, there is 300 to 900 milometers of rain per year.

Some of the animals that live in the coniferous forest are seed eating squirrels, jays(birds), moles, deer, moose, elk, grizzly bears, wolves, and lynkes.

Some plants that are part of this ecosystem are mostly trees that are called the conifer, and the cone bearing tree. Conifers are also called evergreens, pines, spruces, and firs.

The gray wolf has great adaptions. The gray wolf's hearing is 20 more times powerful than a human's hearing. A brown bear also has a lot of great features. These animals are omnivores so that is why these bears are so big because it gets more food.

We need to protect the coniferous forest because we wouldn't be able to eat, drink(water), or live because the trees give us oxygen, the animals give us food, and the rivers give us water.

This is the food web of the coniferous forest.

The wolf can eat moose and elk. The birds get eaten by the owl. Finally....small animals are eaten by the Lynx.
