  • It had a population of between 120,000 to 200,000 people

  • It centered capital of thre biggest empire of the ancient americans
  • near the Urubamba Valley of the Andes mountain range.
  • In 2009, the city had a population of 510,000.

CAHOKIA

  • The largest city Cahokia may have had 30,000 people
  • The remains of the city can still be seen
  • Their mounds were pyramid shaped but with flat tops.
  • The base of the biggest one covered 16 acres (6.5ha)
  • The finish mound rose more than 100 feet (30m) high
