The Andes Mountains are home to the world's largest volcano: Nevado Ojos de Salado. Because of this, there are many eruptions there.

We learned that the Andes Mts are a very important part of South America. We think this because they serve as a border between Chile and Argentina, and hold a statue that represents peace between them. We also learned that it is a very volatile place because of the huge volcano that sits in the Andes. Despite that, we would love to go and visit!
