  • Third they learn how to fly.
  • Finally they grow into adults.
  • They lay eggs themselves.

  • The Archaeopteryx is a link between Dinosaurs and Birds. The Archaeopteryx is one of the only Birds to have TEETH! The Archaeopteryx was found in Germany. The Archaeopteryx was found in limestone. The Archaeopteryx was the first ever Bird.

  • The Archaeopteryx lived in the Jurassic period. The Archaeopteryx lived in the trees. The Archaeopteryx was a carnivore. The Archaeopteryx ate Bugs. The Archaeopteryx had feathers. The Archaeopteryx had differences with gender. Males were colorful while females were white and had no head feathers.

  • The Archaeopteryx used their feathers for mating season. Specifically the males. The Archaeopteryx lived a lot like a Bird. It laid eggs in a nest of twigs, it flew away to find food for it's offspring, and they could glide in the trees. They lay at least 12 eggs. The first fossils of Archaeopteryx were famous finds.

  • The Archaeopteryx was not the only part Dinosaur, part Bird creature. Microraptor is another creature that is like this but it was not the first.

  • Archaeopteryx could not fly but it could glide. Scientists have been trying to make Chicken Dinosaurs in labs. Kinda like an Archaeopteryx! Archaeopteryx had tail feathers. Archaeopteryx was one of the smaller Dinosaurs.
