  • If you were in the first class you would be a wealthy businessman, a corporate manager, or a high-ranking government official.
  • Most people in the middle class are of African ancestry, others are European and Asian ancestry.

  • Sadly, most people in this nation are in the lower class. A common job for them is fishing.

LANGUAGE

  • The most commonly spoken language in the Bahamas is English.
  • 25% of the Bahamian population speaks Haitian Creole. An Indian-European French based language.
  • Another commonly spoken language is Bahamian Creole.

LANGUAGE/HISTORY

  • British settlers came to the Bahamas in the early eighteenth century. The British then taught the people in the Bahamas English.

DAILY LIFE

  • The people in the Bahamas eat meals that consist of fruits, vegetables, bread, rice, and meat like fish.

  • In the Bahamas there are many ways to get around. You can take a plane, a car, a bus, a boat, or a train.
  • There is only one heliport and thirty-one airports. They even have hot air balloons.

DAILY LIFE

  • When you are on the Bahamas there are 210 schools.
  • You finish high school around the age of 18.
  • Once you finish high school you can go to a college any where in the world.

RELIGION

  • The most common religion in the Bahamas is Protestant Christian.
  • 35% present is Baptists. 5% is Church of God
  • 14% is Roman Catholic.
  • There is others like the seven-day Adventist or Pentecostals.

GOVERMENT

  • The Bahamas capital is Nassau.
  • Their constitution is a monarchy.
  • The prime minister is Hubert Minis. He was elected prime minister on May tenth 2017. He is also a medical doctor, trained in the United States, the United Kingdoms, and the Caribbean.

  • Many of the art peaces in the Bahamas are paintings.
  • Others are made of scraps of paper or metals.

  • The population in the Bahamas, seance 2014, has been around 321,834.
  • They have a growth rate of 0.87%
  • They have a birth rate of 15.65
  • Tens of thousands of their population is illegal economic refugees from Haiti.

  • They love pigs!🐷
  • There is a beach called the Pink Sand Beach.
  • There is an island called Cat Island.
  • They have a under water cave system.
  • Deans blue hole is two hundred two meters in to the sea. It is also the worlds largest hole.
