  • -Hannibal's plan was to brake Rome apart.
  • -They fought near the east coast, at Cannae.

  • -By time Hannibal reached the battle all Hannibal's 
  • elephants had died.
  •  Hannibal elephants had terrified Roman troops. 
  • Rome had more troops than Hannibal.

  • Hannibal told all his men to cut the hamstrings of each Roman.
