GENRAL URREA SENT TWO LETTERS TO SANTA ANNA AND HE TOLD HIM NOT TO TAKE ANY PRISONERS. HE WANTED THEM ALL DEAD.

On March 27, all of the held prisoners were divided into groups of three and executed. Except for the 28 Texans that were lucky enough to survive the massacre. With the death of 342.

In conclusion, the battle of Goliad is very important. It showed that Mexico will show no mercy towards Texas. Even if it means murder.
