THE BEATITUDES

BLESSED ARE THE POOR IN SPIRIT

• To live out this beatitude I can pray every morning and night and before and after meals.
• Also I can be thankful for what I have and share my things with others and be kind.
• Finally, I can not brag about what I have because that can make people feel bad and it is not right to do.

BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO MOURN

• I can live out this beatitude by, if I see someone who is sad I can do my best to comfort them.
• I can also tell them that everything will be ok and that God will take care of them and their family.
• Finally I could just sit there with them so that they know that someone is in the ring with them and is on there side and that

BLESSED ARE THE MEEK

• I can live out this beatitude by being gentle and caring to all.
• I can also live out this beatitude by not arguing when I am told to do something.
• Also I could live this by telling people that they should not talk back when their parents tell them to do something.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO HUNGER AND THIRST FO RIGHTEOUSNESS

• I can live this out by working to solve something that is wrong until is solved.
• I could also do this by donating to good causes that try to solve problems in our society.
• Also I could start a petition to stop something that isn’t right so that it will be solved.

BLESSED ARE THE MERCIFUL

• I can live out this beatitude by if someone hurts me and asks for forgiveness I can forgive them.
• If someone is doing something that isn’t right I can acknowledge that they may not know that it’s wrong and I can let them know that they are doing something wrong.
• Also I can treat everyone the same and kindly no matter if we are the same or different, because that is what Jesus did.

BLESSED ARE THE PURE IN HEART

• I can follow this beatitude by doing the right thing and making good choices, also I can live the way Jesus would have wanted me to live it.
• I can also love everyone as if they were my family and treat them all kindly and just be nice.
• Finally I could help others when they are struggling or just need a little encouragement and if I knew how I could give a example.

BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS

• I can live out this beatitude by if I see someone who is having a argument with their friends I can try to help them work it out.
• I can also live this out by doing my best to try and end the hurtful -isms because this makes people feel bad and sometimes end up hurt.
• I may also talk to people and discuss why violence and anger is bad because then people will see the reading and also join to help stop things that disrupt the peace.

BLESSED ARE THEY WHO ARE PERSECUTED FOR THE SAKE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS

• I can live this out by if I know I am doing something that helps all and is right if someone tries to stop me I can continue no matter the consequences.
• I can also do this by, if someone is being stopped for doing something that is right I can speak out so that people will see they were being stopped for something right.
• Finally I can do this by helping others no matter the challenges that are presented to stop me from helping them.
