PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The muscular system.
This system is responsible for our ability to move. We have about 700 muscles in our body. They also make up half of our body weight. Muscle tissue is also found inside of our blood vessels, digestive organs, and in our heart.
The respiratory system.
Every part of our bodies need oxygen. That's where the respiratory system comes in. It brings in oxygen, and removes the carbon dioxide. There are 3 parts of this system. 3. The respiratory muscles. 2. The airway. 1. The lungs.
The nervous system.
The nervous system is part of the brain, sensory organs, and the spinal cord. These organs are in charge of the communication through our bodies. They are also why we feel pain.
The digestive system
The digestive system contains a group of organs who turn food into energy. These organs are the stomach, the large intestine, the small intestine, and the alimentary canal. There are also many accessory organs that help you digest your food.
The circulatory system.
The circulatory system is responsible for carrying important items through our bodies. This system sends oxygen, nutrients, and water all throughout the body.
