michael hangs himself. he feels guilty that his brother died and he didnt.

when death saw liesel he saw a frozen tear on her cheek.

max is a jew who gets sent to a camp.

max really trusts the hubermanns and lived in their basement.

death is part of the undead. he takes souls (and narrated the story now)

the story is very sad at times and we need a tiny violin to cry with...

the story takes place during wwii

 this word means kind to strangers. hans and rosa are kind to strangers.

liesel and rudy are both young kids in the story

liesel has a big love for books (a big zest for them)
